Neuropsychology

We have clinicians trained in neuropsychological assessment and cognitive testing.

Neuropsychological Assessment

When someone has a neurological condition or acquired brain injury, they often notice changes in their thinking skills (cognition). This can have a detrimental impact on their everyday life. We can offer a bespoke cognitive assessment to help you make sense of the problems you are experiencing.

Before we undertake any cognitive testing, we complete a clinical interview. We are firm believers that you are more than a number, and it is critical that we understand what has happened in your life, who you are and what is important to you.

Once the cognitive assessment is complete, a full report is provided. This will detail any cognitive strengths, areas of difficulty and recommendations for what would be helpful.

Post-Assessment

Adjustment
Sustaining a brain injury or the onset of a neurological condition is a really challenging time. It can be really difficult to adjust to life with the associated changes. We can provide psychologically informed therapy sessions designed to support you in adjusting to these changes. We want to help you to lead your life in a way that is meaningful to you.

Support for Carers
A carer can be anyone; a partner, parent, family member or friend. We recognise that caring can be particularly straining for you as an individual. It is very difficult to care for someone else if we cannot care for ourselves. We offer psychological informed therapy to make sure that you feel equipped to look after you.
